Under background:

Tarabot’s team is operating since 2004 under the name of ‘services division’ of Sustainable Development Association (SDA). SDA was a not-for-profit civil society organization founded in 2003 in Alexandria, Egypt. SDA was a young people’s led organization and the operational entity of the YES-Egypt network. YES-Egypt is a member of the Youth Employment Summit Campaign (YES) global initiative. After few years of operation the YES changed its name to be the Youth Entrepreneurship and Sustainability (YES Inc.), and its head office is based in MA, USA. SDA's board members founded the services division as operational section to support the institutional sustainability. The services division started operating in early 2004 and supported the sustainability of SDA which was the focal and regional coordination node for YES MENA and YES Arabia. The services division was providing wide range of consultancy services depending on the highly qualified cadres and members of SDA. Upon the growth of the services division operations and the increasing number of its clients. SDA's advisory board and the executive board came up by a recommendation to provide independence and flexibility for the growing sections of the services division. Accordingly, the recommendation went to the phase of implementation in 2008 and the completion of founding the new entity came up as independent business company named ‘Tarabot’. ‘Tarabot’ is an Arabic word means ‘linkage’ or ‘interconnection’. Tarabot is founded in 2009 under the Egyptian Investment Law number 8, 1997 for the free zones based in Alexandria, Egypt. Tarabot is a unique business entity and its idea was born as a model of sustainability for a civil society organization. Tarabot as a business entity believes in the notions of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Tarabot’s CSR philosophy is implemented in cooperation with the former SDA and its founded initiatives like YES-Egypt network by providing different opportunities to the young people . Tarabot gives a hand to the young cadres in the IT and management consultancy sectors. In order to step in the market and gain knowledge supported by practical hands on experiences. Enhancing the mission towards employability and supporting the young cadres in paving their professional careers.
